Commission coupons

Commission coupons are a simple and effective way to turn referrals into commissions.
You give the customer a discount, and the system credits you with a commission.

Each affiliate partner can create one or more of their own commission coupons as part of active campaigns. The customer enters them directly in the order with the advertiser, and the coupon does two things at once:

  • the customer receives a discount according to the terms of the campaign
  • the system knows exactly that the order belongs to you and will credit you with the commission

The coupon carries your identity—no special link or banner is needed. Even if the customer comes directly to the advertiser's website, the coupon takes care of everything.

However, this does not mean that links and banners are useless. On the contrary.
The coupon only applies to the specific order in which it was used. If you want to be sure that other orders from the customer will also be counted, it is better to first bring them in via an affiliate link or banner.

How to distribute coupons? Practically any way that makes sense:

  • on your own website or blog
  • in an email (no spam)
  • on social media
  • as a supplement to the affiliate link
  • in person or even in print

Coupons are not universal or permanent.
Each advertiser lists campaigns for specific products, with specified conditions and validity periods. You can always find current campaigns for which you can create coupons in the partner administration section under Commission Coupons.

You can create any number of coupons within a single campaign. This makes it easy to see where they work best—each coupon has its own statistics.

If you encounter a problem or something is unclear, you have two options:
public discussion forum (old website) for general questions, or email (affiliate@wedos.com) for private communication.

Coupons aren't magic. They're just well-designed rules that work in your favor when you use them wisely.
