If no advert shows up after you insert the HTML code of the ad space, go through these points one by one:
First check that the ad space is active.
In the list of ad spaces it has to have a green „A“. If you don’t see one there, the detail of the ad space will tell you the reason why it is not active.
Check that the ad space has at least one advert category assigned to it.
You need to tick one or more categories and save the changes. Without that, there is nothing for the advert to be displayed from.
Verify that the HTML code has been inserted into the page correctly.
The code must be inserted exactly as it was generated – without any changes. A frequent problem is that the editor automatically changes or „tidies up“ the code. If you are not sure, leave the insertion to someone experienced with websites.
Check whether the advert is being blocked by software on your side.
A firewall, the browser or add-ons of the AdBlock type can stop adverts from displaying altogether.
The ad space requires JavaScript to be switched on.
If the browser has JavaScript switched off, the advert will not be displayed.
Important notice
Any changes to the settings of ad spaces do not take effect immediately.
After making changes you need to allow for a delay of roughly 5 – 10 minutes. So if you change something, give the system a little time.
